Native Pollinator Study Day.

The day will focus on native West of Ireland pollinators in a natural conservation site setting.

After a brief introduction to pollinator groups and their seasonal life cycles, we will as far as possible be working in small groups in the open air: examining the different habitat types within the site … woodland, native wildflower meadow, hedgerow, field margins, and stream bank, analysing the vegetation, observing pollinator behaviour and identifying speci

We will round off the day by assembling our observations into a resource map of the site for discussion.
